Sub: Engagement of staff against posts of SSEs/JEs(Works) in Construction organization by engagement on contract basis.
Ref: Board’s letter No. EONG)II/2020/RC-4/2(Pt.) dated 20.01.2021.
In terms of Board’s letter of even number cited under reference, the scheme for engagement of staff against posts of SSEs /JEs (Works) in Construction Organizations by engagement on contract basis was last extended up to 19.11.2021 for a total of 100 positions, distributed over different zonal Railways.
It has now been decided to extend the currency of the scheme for engagement of staff as JTAs/Technical Supervisors on contract basis for targeted construction works for a further period of one year beyond 19.11.2021 i.e. up to 19.11.2022 for a total of 320 JTAs/Technical Supervisors with ceiling of 20 in each Zonal Railway, on existing terms/conditions and remuneration.
