Dear Comrades,

Sub: Brief about the meeting held with Hon’ble M.R. on 04.01.2023.

I met Hon’ble Minister for Railways yesterday, i.e. on 4th January, 2023, and conveyed him New Year’s Greetings.

I reminded him for upgradation of the staff working in GP Rs.1800/- to GP Rs.1900/- to the tune of 30% as was agreed during the course of discussions at different levels, right from Hon’ble M.R. to Railway Board Members, including Chairman & CEO Railway Board. Hon’ble MR. has assured for doing the needful.

I also requested Hon’ble M.R. for fulfilling his promise for providing GP Rs.4800 and 5400 to the Supervisory Staff of the leftover categories, viz. Loco Running Inspector and other Inspectors of Loco, Medical Supervisors(Chief Pharmacist, Lab. Supdt., Chief Radiographer, Chief Health & Malaria Inspector, Physiotherapist and Other Paramedical Staff), Stenographers and Chief Typists of the Ministerial Cadre and Chief Law Asstt, Wagon Movement Inspector of Optd. Deptt., Commercial Inspector and Other Inspectors of Commercial Deptt., Supervisory Staff of the IT Cadre and EDP Centres, all the Supervisory Staff of the Cash & Pay, Statistical Inspector etc., Public Relation Inspector, and all other left out categories of the Supervisory Staff, working in Level-7(GP Rs.4600). Hon’ble M.R. has assured that, he has already seized of the issue and issued instructions to the concerned to look into these Issues.
