Availing treatment facility and issuing of medicines at Northern Railway Hospitals and Health Units on production of Valid UMID Card

Sub: Availing treatment facility and issuing of medicines at Northern Railway Hospitals and Health Units on production of Valid UMID Card at Hospitals / Health Unit irrespective of registration at Hospitals / Health Units

To ensure treatment and regular medicine supply to Railway beneficiaries, all the Hospital in charges of Northern Railway Hospitals are advised to direct all the medical officers under their jurisdiction posted at Hospital or Health Units, to entertain all the Railway beneficiaries on production of Valid UMID Card at any of the designated Hospitals / Health Units of NR.

Under any circumstances, No Medical Officer / pharmacist should deny treatment and issue of medicines to any of the Railway beneficiaries, if he or she produces Valid UMID Card at any of the NR Hospitals or Health Units, whether the beneficiary is registered or not registered at that NR Hospital or Health Unit.

All the Hospital in charges of Northern Railway Hospitals are advised to sensitize all the concerned under their jurisdiction with immediate effect.
