Revision of pre-2006 pensioners cases: CPAO to monitor daily status of implementation of Revision of PPO of Pre-2006 Pensioners

Finance Ministry has issued an OM regarding Revision of pre-2006 pensioners cases consequent to the DP&PW OM No. 38/ 37 /08-P&PW (A) dated- 30.07.2015. The OM states that the a summary of Ministry-wise cases to be revised by respective Ministries/ Departments has been displayed at CPAO’s website on its home page.

Subject:- Revision of pre-2006 cases consequent to the DP&PW OM No. 38/ 37 /08-P&PW (A) dated- 30.07.2015.

Secretary (Pension) reviewed the status of revision of pension by Ministries/ Departments consequent to the DP&PW OM dated 30.07.2015 on 22.09.2015. As decided in the meeting, a summary of Ministry-wise cases to be revised by respective Ministries/ Departments has been displayed at CPAO’s website on its home page under the Heading “OM dated-30.07.2015: Ministry/Department wise revision summary for information of Ministries/Departments.” Further, w.e.f. 28th September, 2015, all PAOs need to provide daily update of the number of revision of pension cases sent to CPAO through a link “OM dated-30.07.2015: Revision Tracking System” in the FAQ login provided on the CPAO’s website by 4.00 PM each day to enable CPAO to reconcile with the number of revision of pension cases received at its end and prepare a statement of difference in numbers by 11.00 AM of the next day. This date wise statement shall be available on CPAO’s. website w.e.f. 29th September, 2015 in CCA’s/PAO’s login.

All Pr. CCAs/CCAs/CAs/UTs/AGS are requested to instruct their PAOs to do the needful and provide daily status of disposal of revision cases without fail w.e.f. 28.09.2015.
