MACP in HAG Scale of Rs. 67000-79000

The Department of Personnel and Training (DOP&T), had referred the Department's OM dated 19.05.2009, allowing the benefits under MACP upto the highest grade pay of Rs. 12,000 in Pay Band-4.  Now, consequent upon introduction of the new HAG Scale of Rs. 67000-79000 in replacement of Rs. 37400-67000 with Grade Pay of Rs. 12000 in PB-4, the DOPT has decided that, benefits of financial upgradatation under MACP Scheme shall be available to those Officers.

Now, the DOPT has decided to modify the annexure to the said OM by including the Notes.  The Revised Annexure has been attached for the use of the concerned Officers.

Sir We have welcome MACP for class I officers in 6th CPC my request that in class IV the difference in GP even after promotion is meagre rs 100, 200 etc so the earlier benefit of MACP in promotional Hierarchy as per earlier scheme with increased GP. Thank you yours sincerely V Padmanabhan TO VCRC Pondicherry
