Honorarium for translation

In partial modification of this Department's O.M. No. 17013/3186- Estt.(Allowance) dated 31st March, 1994, Government has decided that the rates of honorarium payable, subject to the ceiling of Rs. 5000 per annum in each case for translation from regional languages to English/Hindi & vice-versa, will, hereafter be Rs.120 per thousand words of Ordinary Material and Rs.130 per thousand words of Technical Material (including Codes, Manuals, etc.)
