Debarment of CSS/CSSS Officers who refuse promotion

The Department of Personnel and Training (DOP&T), has referred the O.M. No. 22011/5/86-Estt (D) dated 10.04.1989 and reiterated that the Officer who does not want to accept a promotion shall be debarred for promotion for a period of one year from the date of refusal of such promotion.  The Department has also directed that this Order shall be effective prospectively in all cases of refusal of promotions after issue of the present O.M. that is, 8th April, 2011.
