NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th June, 2023
G.S.R. 446(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, read with the rule 21 of the Central Secretariat Service Rules, 2009, the President hereby makes the following regulations to further to amend the Central Secretariat Service (Preparation of Select Lists for the Section Officers’ and Assistant Section Officers’ Grades) Regulations, 2013, namely :−
1. (1) These regulations may be called the Central Secretariat Service (Preparation of Select Lists for the Section Officers’ and Assistant Section Officers’ Grades) Amendment Regulations, 2023.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Central Secretariat Service (Preparation of Select Lists for the Section Officers’ and Assistant Section Officers’ Grades) Regulations, 2013, –
(i) in rule 1, for sub-rule (2), the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely:
“(2) They are deemed to have come into force on the 12th July, 2013.”;
(ii) Explanatory Memorandum shall be omitted.

Note : The principal rules were published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part (II) Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide Notification No. G.S.R.483 (E), dated the 12th July, 2013 and subsequent amendment vide Notification No. G.S.R.756(E) dated 2nd August 2016.
