Ref: PLI Dte letter No 29-24/2020-LI (Vol-II) dated 28.08.2023
Kindly refer to PLI Dte letter no. cited above. Master Circular containing guidelines related to AML/ CFT/ML alerts for insurance services has been issued vide letter under reference wherein comprehensive instructions were issued for reporting of certain specified transactions detailed in para D(ii) of the aforesaid Master Circular.
2. It has been learnt that the transactions as per the prescribed procedure are not being reported at Circle level.
3. It is therefore requested that necessary instructions may kindly be issued to all concerned to adhere to the instructions contained in the Master Circular in letter and spirit. Moreover, consolidated Circle-wise report for the month of Jan 2024 may kindly be forwarded as early as possible to the PMLA division and also, in future, all due monthly reports may kindly be forwarded directly to PMLA division by 5th of the succeeding month under intimation to this office.
4. This issues with the approval of the competent authority.
