Good News for Central Government Employees Regarding Incentives

Dearness Allowance @ 189% from July 2021 to Railway employees  as per 6th CPC

The Central Government employees, waiting for a hike in minimum pay and fitment factor beyond the 7th Pay Commission recommendations, have recently god a good news in connection with the incentives they are entitled to get.

As per a recent notification released by the Department of Personnel and Training under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions (MoPPP), the CG employees who pass a higher degree after coming into service will become eligible for a five-fold incentive.

The Central Government employees who acquire PhD or equivalent certificate will get an incentive of Rs 30,000 and those who complete PG Degree/Diploma of duration more than one year, or equivalent, will get Rs 25,000 incentive. A Rs 20,000 incentive has been announced for employees completing PG Degree/Diploma of duration one year or less, or equivalent and Rs 15,000 incentive will be given to those finishing Degree/Diploma of duration more than three years, or equivalent.

The decision has been taken as per the recommendations on the guidelines of the 7th Pay Commission Committee, headed by the Finance Secretary.

Recently, the Finance Department of Madhya Pradesh had given the pensioners of the state a valid reason to smile. If reports are to be believed, over 4 lakh pensioners are likely to get the hiked Dearness Allowance, as per 7th Pay Commission recommendations, from May 2019.

Reportedly, the hiked DA will be included in Madhya Pradesh government pension from next month and the decision on the arrears between January 2018 till April 2019 is to be taken after the conclusion of ongoing general elections.
