Ceiling of Rs. 5.00 Lakh on subscription to Defence Services Officers Provident Fund (DSOP) in Financial Year.
Message:
As per MoD, DMA letter No.14(1)/2023-D(Pay/Services) dt. 13.03.2024, the provision of Min. of Personal, PG & Pensions D/o P & PW’s O.M. No.3/6/2021-P&PW(F) dated 11.10.2022 regarding ceiling of Rs. 5.00 Lakh per year on subscription to General Provident Fund will be applicable to Armed Forces Personnel.
Accordingly, ceiling of Rs. 5.00 Lakh is applicable on subscription to DSOP Fund w.e.f. F.Y. 2024-25. The minimum contribution to DSOP Fund is 6% of Monthly Basic Pay.
The above order is effective from March 2024.
