Family Pension to Parents of Armed forces Personnel-Clarification
It has been clarified by GOI, MOD that in the cases deceased Armed forces Personnel is not suvived by a widow/widower or child, the dependent parents become directly eligible to receive family pension.

Clarification on LTC to NER by employees of Defence Accounts working in their home town
Citing DOPT’s stand to allow Government Employees to travel to NER and J&K by air by converting their home town or All India LTC, following clarifications were sought for with Controller of Defence Accounts, by the employees working under the Controller of Defence Accounts.
Duplicate Copy of Defence Pension Payment Order
The procedure for obtaining duplicate copy of Pension Payment Order in lieu of Lost one under Para 5.1 and 5.2 of Defense Pension Payment Payment Instructions have been issued for information and guidance of defence pensioners.
