SSC Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contract) Examination, 2017 – Declaration of Final result

The Staff Selection Commission has released the final result of a junior engineer recruitment examination on Monday, October 15 on the official website, ssc.nic.in. Around 5,69,930 candidates have appeared in the online examinations. The online registration for SSC JE 2017 was started in October – November 2017 and the preliminary computer-based test was conducted in January 2018. Once the results were announced, SSC conducted the mains in June 2018. A total of 341 candidates have been selected of which, 256 are from Civil Engineering, 40 are from Electrical Engineering and 45 are from Mechanical Engineering.

Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contract) Examination, 2017 – Paper II was held on 29.04.2018. The result of Paper-II for calling candidates for Document Verification was declared on 22.06.2018.

On the basis of Cut-Off marks fixed by the Commission in Paper-II, 1280 candidates qualified in Civil Engineering and 319 candidates qualified in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering for Document Verification.

The final result of this examination is available on the Commission’s website i.e. http://ssc.nic.in. Marks of the candidates will be uploaded on the Commission’s website shortly.

  • Click on the link, Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contract) Examination, 2017 – Candidates shortlisted for appearing in Paper-II (Descriptive Paper)
  • In the new page, click on result option
  • A sheet with the list of selected candidates will appear
  • Download it, and take a print out of it for further reference.
