The All India Management Association AIMA MAT September 2017 Result declared

AIMA MAT 2017 result: The All India Management Association (AIMA) released the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) September 2017 exam results. Those who have taken the examination can check their results on the official website of the AIMA. The AIMA conducted the MAT 2017 on September 3 and September 9. The exam is held to shortlist eligible candidates for admission to select management institutes in the country.

Through MAT results, successful candidates can now take admission in MBA programmes in various B-schools. Here is how candidates can check Management Aptitude Test (MAT) September 2017 exam results.

Here are the steps to check MAT September 2017 exam results:

  • Log on to the official website of AIMA, aima.in.
  • On the home page, click on the link “MAT September results” inside a blue tab.
  • You will be redirected to a new page where the link “MAT Result September 2017” will be available on the right-hand side of the page under the “Quick Links” section
  • Open the link and enter your roll number and form number as well as month of test
  • Your result will be made available when you click on “Submit”

The candidates who clear this exam will be called for a personal interview round as well as group discussion round. The MAT exam is conducted four times a year, usually in February, May, September, and December.

AIMA will also send the MAT September 2017 scorecard to candidates via post to their registered address. Candidates can also request for duplicate scorecards within 45 days of declaration of results by paying a nominal fee of Rs.100 via DD.

MAT 2017 comprised of 200 Objective Type questions and the scorecard is divided in the following sections:

1. Language Comprehension
2. Mathematical Skills
3. Data Analysis and Sufficiency
4. Intelligence and Critical Reasoning
5. Composite Score
6. Indian and Global Environment

As per the official ‘MAT Score and Its Interpretation’ guideline, the Scores for the above mentioned 1 to 4 sections are reported in the range of 0-100. Scores of section 5 i.e. Composite Score are calculated basis the scores of above 4 sections and range from 199 to 801. The last section Indian and Global Environment also carries scores between 0-100.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT)

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardised test being administered since 1988 to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programmes. Ministry of Human Resources Development (HRD) of Government of India approved MAT as a national level test in 2003. Any Business-School – national or international – can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates.
