Sub: Filling up the vacancies of Station Master through General Selection and Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE).
Attention is invited to instructions contained in Board’s RBE No.22/2018 which stipulates the mode of filling up the vacancies in the category of Station Master in Level-6.
2. It has been noticed that there are a large number of vacancies in the category of Station Masters in Level-6, which is adversely affecting train operations.
3. It is desired that Railways may take urgent necessary action for filling up the vacancies of Station Masters by all prescribed modes as stipulated in RBE No. 22/2018 ibid, and GDCE.
