DA rates increased to Central Government Pensioners and Family Pensioners

In line with the Dearness Allowance allowed to serving employees Government has increased Dearness Relief to Central Government Pensioners and Family Pensioners.

As per the Office Memorandum dated 27-09-2010 issued in this regard, Dearness Relief for Pensioners and Family Pensioners is increased from existing 35% to 45%.

The order apply to All Civilian Central Government Employees/Family  Pensioners, Armed Forces Pensioners, Civilian Pensioners paid out of the Defence Service Estimates, All India Service Pensioners, Railway Pensioners and Burma Civilian Pensioners/Family Pensioners and pensioners/families of displaced Government Pensioners from Pakistan who are Indian Nationals but receiving pension from Pakistan who are Indian Nationals but receiving Pension on behalf of Government of Pakistan, who are in receipt of ad-hoc ex-gratia allowance of Rs. 3500 per month in terms of DOPT OM No: 23/1/97-P&pW(B) dated 23-02-98 read with DOPT OM No: 23/03/2008-P&PW(B) dated 15-09-2008.
