Subject: Amendment in UPSC (Exemption from Consultation) Regulations, 1958- Substitution of the existing provision in Entry 6 of Schedule II, specified in Notification dated 13th July, 2024 -regarding
The undersigned is directed to say that UPSC(Exemption from Consultation), Regulations, 1958, has been further amended, vide DoP&T’s Notification, dated 15th March, 2024 (copy enclosed), by substituting the existing provisions in Entry 6 of Schedule-Il, specified in DoPT Notification dated 13 July, 2023, as follows:
‘6. All Group ‘A’ posts and all Group ‘B’ posts up to level 13A of the Pay Matrix, filled by the method of deputation/re-employment or deputation (including short term contract) or absorption or deputation/promotion (composite method)’
2. All Ministries/Departments/Organisations are requested to take note of above amendments for compliance.
