Central Government Employees strike - NJCA decide to proceed after meeting 7th pay commission empowered committee7th Pay Commission Latest News – NJCA, the joint action committee consisting of all railway unions, Central Government Employees Federations, Civilian Defence Personnel Associations and Pensioners Forums had earlier planned for all India Indefinite Strike from 11th April 2016, in view of anti-employee recommendations of 7th Pay Commission.

All Employee federations and Unions are preparing for this strike for which notice has to be served to the Govt by 11th March 2016.

In the mean time, 7th Pay Commission Empowered Committee conducted its preliminary meeting with Staff Side JCM. With regard to all demands for rectifying the retrograde recommendations of 7th Pay Commission, Cabinet Secretary did not make any specific Comments and however said the meeting was only preliminary.

After this meeting, NJCA has taken a decision to continue with the strike preparations. NJCA would again meet on 7th March 2016

The NJCA met today – reviewed the discussions at the Standing Committee meeting with the Cabinet Secretary held on 1.3.2016 – (6.45 to 8.45 PM). The NJCA has decided to continue with the preparation of the Strike. The NJCA will meet again on 7th March evening
