GConnect moves to HTTPS to ensure more secured browsing for users – How to Subscribe to GConnect Browser Notification for new https site of GConnect

GConnect has recently moved to HTTPS (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol) a secured version of HTTP, the protocol over which data is sent between your browser and the website you are connected to. The ‘S’ at the end of HTTPS stands for ‘Secure’.

It means all communications between your browser and the web pages of GConnect are encrypted.

One of the major benefits of HTTPS is that it protects users against man-in-the-middle (MitM) attacks that can be launched from compromised or insecure networks. Hackers use such techniques to steal sensitive information from or to inject malicious content into web traffic.

How to access HTTPS version of GConnect ?

There is no action needed from your end. All your requests for accessing web pages GConnect would be automatically connected to https version GConnect viz., https://www gconnect.in/

Existing subscribers of Browser Notifications for getting updates of GConnect will have to subscribe afresh:

In order to get updates of GConnect as browser notification, existing users who had subscribed to http verion of GConnect will have to subscribe afresh. Subscription to browser notification is one time process. We request all the existing susbscribers to subscribe again.
