Spices Board was constituted on 26th February 1987 under the Spices Board Act 1986 (No. 10 of 1986) with the merger of the erstwhile Cardamom Board (1968) and Spices Export Promotion Council (1960). Spices Board is one of the five Commodity Boards functioning under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. It is an autonomous body responsible for the export promotion of the scheduled spices and production development of some of them such as Cardamom.

Spices Board invites interested candidates to attend for a Walk In Interview for the following Positions :

Total No. of Vacancies : 45 Posts (N.E Region – 07 Posts ; Bodinayakannur – 07 Posts ; Nedumkandam – 17 Posts ; Karnataka – 14 Posts)

Qualification : B Sc degree in any life sciences including Botany, Zoology/Agriculture/Horticulture/ Bio-Technology/Microbiology/Forestry with working knowledge in computer

Eligibility : Those who have completed their course of study during the   academic year 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13 & 2013-14 are only eligible.

Stipend : Rs.14,000/- per month.

Tenure : One year extendable up to one more year.

How to Apply : Candidates are required to attend for a walk in interview along with all certificates in original.
