JKPSC Combined Competitive (PRE) Examination 2014  – Applications, in prescribed forms are invited from the permanent residents of J&K State for Preliminary Examination for the posts listed below :

JKPSC Combined Competitive (PRE) Examination 2014 – Details :

  • Junior Scale of J&K Administrative Service – 33 Posts
  • J&K Police (G) Service – 16 Posts
  • J&K Accounts (G)  Service  – 02 Posts

Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 PB-2 with grade pay of Rs. 4800

Qualification : must hold a Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University in India or of a foreign University declared by Government in consultation with the Commission to be equivalent to the degree of a recognized Indian University

Age Limit : 21 – 35 years ; Relaxations to the reserved communities would be provided as per Government of Jammu & Kashmir Rules

Application Fee : Rs. 800/- (Rupees Eight Hundred only inclusive of service charges of the Bank) for Open Merit/ General Category Candidates. Rs. 550/- (Rupees Five hundred and fifty only inclusive of service charges of the Bank) for SC, ST, RBA, LAC, Social Caste (SLC) and Physically Challenged (PHC) category candidates.

How to Obtain the application form : Candidates have to approach an approved  branch of J&K Bank (List of approved branches are available in the pdf)  and buy the application form by making the fee payment as mentioned above in cash. After filling the application, candidates have to again submit the completed application form in the approved J&K Bank within the last date and obtain receipt.

How to Apply : Since the Application Form (OMR) is to be electronically scanned, due care should be taken while handling and filling in the Application Form neatly and correctly. The candidate should fill in the data/information at relevant spaces of the Acknowledgement Card, along with his Form Number and the name of the examination.  One recently captured passport size photograph of the candidate, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer should be firmly pasted at the space provided in the Application Form.

Candidates will be issued Acknowledgement Cards by the counter/Receipt Assistant at the designated branch of the J&K Bank at the time of submission of the duly filled in  Application Form. This Acknowledgement Card is an important document which may be required at various occasions to prove the bonafide of the candidature and should therefore be  preserved properly.
