JEE Main 2014 All India Rank JEE Main 2014 State Rank Released – JEE Main 2014 Result

The much awaited JEE Main 2014 All India Rank and JEE Main State Rank List have been released by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). JEE Main 2014 Rank for Candidates have been released in the form of JEE Main 2014 Result in its official website cbseresults.nic.in. JEE Main 2014 Rank list is based on marks scored by a candidate in the JEE Main 2014 examination and Qualifying examination such as Higher Secondary / Intermediate /+2 / 12th Examination.

As per official release of CBSE, more than 13 lakh Students have appeared for JEE Main 2014. Since JEE Main 2014 is also a qualifying examination for JEE Advanced 2014 for admission in to IITs, top 1,50,000 students based on marks in JEE Main 2014 were declared qualified for appearing in JEE Advanced 2014.

JEE Main 2014 is a all India Entrance Examination to admit candidates in NITs and IIITs throughout India.

JEE Main 2014 All India Rank is a common Rank list taking into account performance in JEE Main 2014 and qualifying examination of all students in India. JEE Main 2014 All India Rank will be used when a student prefers admission in Institution situated in a state other than his/her home state.

JEE Main 2014 State Rank is a Rank list taking in to acocunt the performance in JEE Main 2014 and Qualifying examination of students belonging to a particular state. JEE Main 2014 State Rank will be considered while a student applies for admission in to NITs and IIITs situated in the same state to which the student is belonging to.

Both JEE Main 2014 All India Rank and JEE Main 2014 State Rank are calculated by takin in to account 40% of normalised marks scored by a in Qualifying Examination and 60% of marks scored by the student in JEE Main 2014

The JEE Main 2014 Ranks will be accepted by 30 National Institutes of Technology (NITs), 13 Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITS, IIITM & IIITDM) and 16 other Central /State Government Funded Technical Institutes for providing admissions to successful candidates in various undergraduate engineering programmes through central counselling.
