JEE Advanced 2014 Result – Indian Institutes of Technology is going to declare JEE Advanced 2014 Result on June 19, 2014. The Joint Entrance Examination was conducted on 25th May 2014 at various examination centres. Candidates who have appeared for the JEE Advanced for admissions to the IITs and ISM Dhanbad can check their scores from the Result of JEE Advanced 2014. The All India Ranks along with the scores obtained by the candidates can be known through the Result of JEE Advanced 2014.

Candidates who clear JEE Advanced will be fit for admissions to Indian Institutes of Technology in Bhubaneshwar, Bombay, Delhi, Gandhinaga, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Patna, Roorkee, Ropar and Varanasi. Students can also apply to Indian School of Mines in Dhanbad which has 18 academic departments covering a varied range of courses in Engineering, Applied Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences and Management programs.

JEE Advanced 2014 examination is being jointly conducted by IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee to prepare merit list of candidates for getting admission into Undergraduate Engineering Programmes such as B.E and B.Tech in 16 IITs and ISM Dhanbad. Out of over 13 lakh candidates, who took JEE Main 2014, the top 1,50,000 qualified students appeared for the JEE Advanced 2014. Admissions to 16 IITs will be based only on category-wise All India Rank (AIR) in JEE-Advanced, provided such candidates are in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards. The JEE Main 2014 Cutoff was 115 for general category.

The Online applications were accepted from the candidates upto 9th May 2014. As decided earlier, IIT has conducted the JEE on 25th May 2014 at various centres in 98 cities all over the India.

JEE Advanced 2014 Result :

  • The All India Ranks (AIR) / Category Ranks will be announced via the JEE Advanced 2014 Result on June 19, 2014.
  • Candidates can check their JEE Advanced 2014 Result for the respective zonal IITs.
  • Candidates must note that the Common Merit List (CML) announced through the JEE Advanced 2014 Result will be allotted to those candidates who score at least 10% in each subject and 35% in aggregate.
  • Candidates can check their JEE Advanced 2014 Result by entering their  JEE Advanced Roll No and Date of Birth
  • The JEE Advanced 2014 Result will contain separate Merit List for OBC (NCL), SC and ST categories mentioning the specified relaxation in minimum marks
  • The Tie breaking criterion will be based on the following in the order mentioned: Higher rank for higher marks in Mathematics, followed by higher marks in Physics.
  • Note: Candidates will be awarded the same rank in case both the candidates have the same marks in each of the three subjects.

In total, 9,784 seats are available for candidates seeking admissions.
