1. Research Officer (Chemistry) Lube Technology – 06 Posts

Qualification : Ph.D in Chemistry from a recognized University / Institute

2. Research Officer (Biotechnology) Industrial Bio- Technology Research – 02 Posts

Qualification : Ph.D in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Biosciences/Biochemical or Bioprocess engineering from a recognized university/ Institute. The PhD thesis or publications should be related to:
Modern molecular biology techniques and their applications in the area of hydrocarbon biotransformation/ petroleum microbiology/ bioprocesses related to hydrocarbon refining/ upgrading/treatment Or
Enzymatic CO2 capture/ Bioelectrochemical processes for CO2 transformation /Microbial fuel cell systems

3. Research Officer (Automotive Research) – 04 Posts

Qualification : Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Automobile / Thermal Engg. / IC Engines) from a recognized University / Institute. The dissertation should be in the field of IC Engines / Automotive Fuels /Emission.

4. Research Officer (Chemical Engineering) Refining Technology – 07 Posts

Qualification : Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute

5. Sr. Officer (Intellectual Property) – 01 Post

Qualification : Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Chemical / Mechanical) or M.Sc (Chemistry / Bio-technology / Polymer) from a recognized University/ Institute  AND  Registered Patent Agent with Indian Patent office or any other patent office such as USPTO & EPO

6. Dy. Manager Research (Gr C) / Senior Research Officer (Gr. B) Fuel Cell – 01 Post

Qualification : Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute

7. Chief Research Manager (Gr F) / Senior Research Manager (Nanotechnology) – 01 Post

Qualification : a) Ph.D in Experimental Physics (Nano Metal Synthesis / CNT  synthesis & characterization)  OR
b) Ph.D in Physical Chemistry (Surface Chemistry / CNT Characterization / Milling with subject in Surface chemistry/Colloidal chemistry/ Nanoparticle synthesis with top down technology & characterization) OR
c) Ph.D in Material Science (Nano Metal Synthesis / Nanocomposites / Milling)

8. Chief Research Manager (Gr F) /Senior Research Manager (Bitumen) – 01 Post

Qualification : PhD in Organic Chemistry from a recognized University / Institute

Application fee : General & OBC candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only) as application fee drawn on State Bank of India, Faridabad (Code 10449) in favor of INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LTD., R&D CENTRE payable at Faridabad. SC/ST/ PH applicants are exempted from payment of application fee.
