Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the results of CTET 2018 on Friday, January 4, 2019 from the official websites of CTET & CBSE. The candidates who appeared for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) can check and download their results from the official websites, ctet.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in. CTET or Central Teacher Eligibility Test is a qualifying criterion for teachers who wish to be recruited as teachers for primary and upper primary classes.  The CTET 2018 exam was conducted on December 9, 2018 and more than 16 lakh candidates had appeared for the exam. The exam was conducted at 2144 centres in 92 cities nationwide.

Out of 10,73,545 candidates, a total of 1,78,273 candidates have qualified for Primary School Teacher and out of 8,78,425 candidates, a total of 1,26,968 candidates have qualified for Middle School Teacher.  The pass percentage in CTET for Primary School category is 17 per cent and for Middle School category is 15 per cent.

How to check CTET Results 2018?

  • Visit the official websites, ctet.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in
  • On the homepage, click on the link “CTET Result 2018”
  • Then, click on the link “Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) – 2018 – Announced on 4th January 2019”
  • Enter your roll number in the space provided and click on submit button
  • After submitting, the results will be displayed on the screen
  • Download it and take print out of the same for future use.
