CA CPT and Final Results – The Chartered Accountants of India has conducted the Common Proficiency Test for the admission to Chartered Accountant course as well as the Final examination of CA. CA CPT and Final exam is being conducted twice in a year. This test is conducted by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) an independent body set up by an Act of Parliament.

CA Common Proficiency Test Results is the first step in Chartered Accountant Course. Candidates who have cleared this examination will be given admission in Chartered Accountant Course. CA has Inter and Final Examinations to be passed for awarding a candidate as Chartered Accountant. There will be two times the examination will be conducted every year i.e, May and December. For the Inter and Final courses the Merit list will be published. Merit list will have ranks of the candidates who have successfully completed the course.

Candidates have to score a minimum of 30% in CA Common Proficiency Test in each individual papers and an aggregate of 50 % marks after adjusting the negative marks. There will be 4 sections in the CPT and they are

  1. Fundamentals of Accounting
  2. Mercantile Laws
  3. General Economics
  4. Quantitative Aptitude

The exam will be of multiple choice questions (MCQ) and the candidates have to select the right answer.

The question paper will be in bilingual i.e., in Hindi and English.
