VITEEE Results 2018: The results of the entrance exam for admission to 20 B.Tech courses offered at the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) campuses in Vellore, Chennai, Amravati and Bhopal will be declared on April 25, 2018. According to the university, the expected date for the results is April 25. The Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination was held from April 4 to 15 in 124 cities across India. According to the university circular, the final grades are scrutinized with great care, and there is no provision for re-grading and re-totalling. The results to be announced will be final. VITEEE result 2018 is expected today. As per the exam schedule given by Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), the exam conducting body, results are expected today (25 April 2018). The result will be declared online at the official website vit.ac.in. Students who have given valid phone numbers during registration will receive the VITEEE rank through SMS, as well. There is no provision to send the marks of the candidates (selected or unselected) by post.

SMS Alert:-

Those students who gave their valid phone numbers during the registration will get the rank through SMS.

At the time of publication of the results, the rank will be intimated through SMS, if the mobile number of the applicant is provided. Last year the results were declared on 23 April 2017.

Classes will begin on 9 July 2018.

Selection Process for VITEEE:

The applicants will be shortlisted based on their entrance examination rank and will be then called for the counselling.

VITEE 2018:

  • The VIT Engineering Entrance Examination or VITEEE-2018, a computer-based test was held from April 4 to 15 in 124 cities
  • The 2 hours 30 minutes exam consisted of Multiple Choice Questions and was divided into 4 parts: Physics, chemistry, mathematics/biology and English

How to Check VITEEE 2018 Result?

  • Log on to the official website of ‘VITEEE 2018’.
  • Find out the VITEEE 2018 result link on the official website, which will be activated as soon as the result is announced.
  • Once the page download is complete, candidates need to enter the ‘Application No’ as well as Date of Birth.
  • After this, candidates need to enter the verification code
  • Click on ‘Submit’ and VITEEE result will be displayed on the official website.
  • Download and take the printout of VITEEE result for the future reference.

VITEEE 2018 Result and Merit List:

After VITEEE 2018 Results are announced, VIT University will be releasing the merit list of all the candidates who have qualified the exam. It will also contain the names of the candidates who have reached the VITEEE cut-off marks set by the exam conducting authority. Based on the VITEEE merit list, candidates will be invited for the counselling procedure. Further, a unique rank will be awarded to the candidate to appear for the counselling. The merit list will also contain ranks allotted to them.

VITEEE 2018 Counselling Details:

Counselling process will begin soon after the results are declared. During counselling, candidates shall have to submit: admit card, counselling admit card, result copy, date of birth proof, class 12 mark sheet (those awaiting result can submit the hall ticket), community certificate and demand draft of Rs. 50000. Candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura shall have to submit nativity certificate.

The VITEEE counselling schedule will be announced after VITEEE 2018 Result is declared and the rank list is released. The counselling process will involve allotment of colleges to the students as per the ranks they have obtained in the exam. The counselling session will be conducted in two phases and students will be required to get all the required documents with them to get an admission.

The seat allocation for the shortlisted candidates will be based on their AIR score in the VITEEE 2018 and is expected to be completed in two phases. Candidates will be invited to participate in the VITEEE counselling process as per their ranks. The candidates can appear for the counselling in any of the four campuses under VIT University. The admission procedures for all the campuses is the same. The candidates should register themselves for the counselling process. They are requested to choose college and course into which they need to join.

VITEEE-2018 is a common entrance exam and eligible candidates can select the courses offered at VIT Vellore Campus, Chennai Campus, VIT-Bhopal and VIT-AP on the day of Counselling as per the order of merit and availability.
