The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 examination on its official website, ntaneet.nic.in. The NEET examination 2019 was conducted on May 5, 2019 and May 20, 2019. Candidates who had appeared in the examination can check their NEET 2019 result on NTA website at www.ntaneet.nic.in. A total of 15,19,375 students had registered for the exam held across the country. The exam consisted of 180 objective type questions from physics, chemistry and biology.

Nalin Khandelwal from Rajasthan is the NEET first All India Rank holder this year. He obtained 701 marks or a percentile of 99.99%. Bhavik Bansal has ranked 2nd with 700 marks.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the result based on the qualifying criteria provided by Medical/Dental Council of India and All India Rank based on the marks obtained in NEET (UG) 2019. A percentile rank is the percentage of score that falls below a given score in a group. The Percentile score of a candidate will be calculated as follows: 100 x Number of candidates appeared with raw score EQUAL TO OR LESS than the candidate divided by the total number of candidates appeared.

How to check NTA NEET 2019 Result?

  • Visit the official website, ntaneet.nic.in
  • On the homepage, Click on the link “NEET UG Result 2019”
  • A new page will open
  • Enter your Registration number & Password and click on submit button
  • Results will be displayed on the screen
  • Download it and take printout for future use

The candidates who qualify the NEET 2019 examination will be eligible for admission to MBBS or BDS in recognized medical institutions in India. After counselling, candidates would be eligible for admission to MBBS or BDS Courses in Indian Medical or Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India or Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.
