Kerala TET 2018: Pareeksha Bhavan, Kerala conducted Kerala TET 2018. Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test 2018 is an examination to assess the quality of teacher for Lower Primary, Upper Primary and High School classes in Kerala. The Application Form has been released, apply online by visiting the official website, http://keralapareekshabhavan.in.  Interested and eligible candidates can apply for KTET 2018 Examination.

There will be separate test conducted for following categories:

Category I: This exam is conducted for the candidates willing to be a teacher for lower primary classes.

Category II: This exam is conducted for the candidates willing to be a teacher for upper primary classes.

Category III: This exam is conducted for the candidates willing to be a teacher for high school classes.

Category IV: This exam is conducted for the candidates willing to be a language teacher of Hindi, Arabic, Sanskrit, Urdu for upper primary class, Physical Education teachers and specialist teachers up to High school level.

Kerala TET 2018 Exam Schedule:

Eligibility Criteria for Kerala TET 2018:

Educational Qualification:

Category I – Applicants must have passed Senior Secondary Exams with 45% marks and hold 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/2 year Trained Teacher’s Certificate (TTC) or He/she must have passed senior secondary examination with 50% marks and possess 2 year Diploma in Education (SE)/4 year B.El.Ed.

Category II – Applicants must hold B.Sc / B.Com degree / BA and 2 year Trained Teacher’s Certificate (TTC)/Diploma in Elementary Education OR hold BA / B.Com / B.Sc with 45% marks by with 1 year B.Ed. OR have completed senior secondary examination with having 50% marks by with 4 years B.El.Ed/ BA / B.Ed. / B.Sc / BA.Ed. B.Sc.Ed.

Category III – Applicants must have B.Com/B.Sc/B.A with 45% marks and B.Ed in related subject or passed LTTC.

  • Eligibility for Mathematics, Physics, Botany, Chemistry and Zoology: Applicants must hold M.Sc.Ed. In related subject by with acquiring 50% marks and it must be acquired from one of Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by the NCERT.
  • Eligibility for Botany and Zoology: Applicants must have M.Sc.Ed degree in Life Science by having 50% marks.

Age limit:

The candidates who have any kind of interest in the KTET exam 2018 and want to apply for it must be at least 18 years old to apply for the same.

How to Apply Kerala TET 2018?

  • Candidates can visit the site http://keralapareekshabhavan.in
  • Then after visiting the homepage of Kerala pareeksha.
  • Click on the tab KTET 2018 and fill registration form.
  • Uploads photographs and signature jpg file as per given format.
  • All information must be correct and genuine otherwise application form will be rejected.
  • Finally print out the application form in pdf format.

Kerala TET 2018 – Application fees:

The candidates who have any kind of interest in the KTET exam 2018 and want to apply for it must pay Rs.500 (SC/ST just have to pay Rs.250) as application fee of KTET exam 2018 through any medium.

Examination Pattern – Kerala TET 2018:

  • There will be a separate paper in each category.
  • All the questions will be found as multiple choice questions (in nature) and carrying 1 mark each.
  • Out of the 4 alternatives, only 1 answer will be correct.
  • Total number of MCQ questions in type will be 150.
