GUJCET Result 2018: Gujarat Common Entrance Test results declared at gujcet.gseb.org
The CGSEB Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board published the GUJCET Results 2018 on its official website www.gseb.org, along with the result of GSEB Class 12th Science Stream and GSEB HSC Class 12 Result 2018. Along with the marks, ranking of the candidates will also be released on the result day.
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board released the Gujarat Common Entrance Test GUJCET 2018 results TODAY at 9 am. The GSEB Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board published the GUJCET Results 2018 on its official website www.gseb.org, along with the result of GSEB Class 12th Science Stream and GSEB HSC Class 12 Result 2018. Along with the marks, ranking of the candidates also be released on the result day.
Students can check their GUJCET Results 2018, GSEB Class 12 Results 2018 or GSEB HSC Result 2018, GSEB HSC 12 Science Result 2018 on these websites as well examresults.net or gujarat.indiaresults.com. Over 1.35 lakh candidates had appeared for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test GUJCET examinations at 34 centres across the state of Gujarat.

Steps students need to follow to check GUJCET Results 2018 and GSEB HSC results 2018: How to check online:
Step 1: Visit the official website Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board GSEB gseb.org
Step 2: Look for the link which says GUJCET Results 2018, GSEB HSC Result 2018 or GSEB Class 12 Results 2018
Step 3: Click on the result tab which says 2018 GUJCET Results, GSEB HSC SCIENCE Result 2018 / GUJCET results 2018
Step 3: In the new window, enter registration number/ roll number
Step 4: Results will appear on the screen
Step 5: Download it, and take a print out for further reference.
Due to heavy traffic if the websites go slow, the students can check the results through the third party website, examresults.net, indiaresults.com. Earlier the answer keys were released on May 1. Over 1.35 lakh candidates had appeared for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) examinations at 34 centres across the state of Gujarat.
Though many students skipped the examination, nearly 350 candidates appeared for all the four exams of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics, for admissions to engineering and medical courses. In the first session on Physics and Chemistry, which was conducted from 10 am to 12 noon, 1,34,979 students appeared for the exam out of a total of 1,36,498 applications. Around 73,171 students took the second session of the test, on Biology, out of 74,048 candidates. In the last session which was on Mathematics, out of the 62,761 registered candidates, only 61,981 took the exam.
Last year, out of 1.34 lakh registered candidates, 1.32 lakh appeared for Physics and Chemistry examination which was a combined paper, while for pharmacy colleges, 67,963 students appeared in Biology out of 68,983 registered number. Mathematics exam witnessed 66890 students who appeared out of 67,814 registered candidates.

The Board will also be releasing the ranks of the candidates along with the marks. After the announcement of GUJCET result, counselling will begin. Before the counselling, candidates are required to fill their choice of course and centre. On the basis of the rank obtained, they may get the preferred course.
The GUJCET is a common screening test conducted by the Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Board (GSEB) to shortlist candidates for admission to engineering degree, engineering diploma and pharmacy courses. The GUJCET Exam was regularly conducted since 2012 but was replaced by JEE Mains thereafter. However, within 4 years, the Gujarat Board has reintroduced the GUJCET Exam again.
