Bihar Police Constable Exam result 2017 : The Bihar Police Constable Result 2017 is likely to be released shortly by the Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC). Once the results are officially declared, candidates can check their scores on the official website – csbc.bih.nic.in.
According to previous information, the results were expected to be announced by the last week of December 2017 and the latest reports suggest that the results are likely to be declared by December 28 i.e. today.
Nearly 11 lakh candidates have appeared for the Constable Exam of Bihar. The examination was conducted on October 15 and 22 throughout different centers in the state.
As many as 9,900 constables have to be recruited on the basis of this examination. Candidates who clear the first round of this written test will have to appear for subsequent rounds. Approximately, 50,000 candidates would be shortlisted for the next round.
The examination for selecting candidates for 9900 posts were conducted between 15 and 22 October 2017, which was attempted by over 11 lakh candidates, reported NDTV.

The written examination was of class 12 (Bihar School Examination Board) or equivalent standard. Objective type questions were framed and the exam was of total 100 marks. The duration of the same was two hours. For every correct answer, one mark will be given.
According to the report, PET carries a total of 100 marks and will test the physical fitness of the candidates. The final merit list of candidates will be prepared based on the results of the PET.
The exam was held in two sessions (10 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm) on October 15. There was one session (morning) on October 22.
A candidate has to score a minimum of 30 marks in the written examination out of 100 marks in order to get selected for further rounds which will include a Physical Ability Test (PAT). The test will include running which will be rated on how fast they finish 1.6 km distance. Like if they take less than five minutes, they will be able to score 50 marks.
CSBC will prepare the merit list for selection for the appointment to the post of constable in district and military police on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in all the three events under Physical Ability Test — run, shot put and high jump.
