AP PGECET 2018: The hall ticket of AP PGECET 2018 will be available from May 5 onwards. Andhra University, Visakhapatnam will conduct Andhra Pradesh Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) 2018 from May 10 to 12. AP PGECET 2018 will be conducted by the university on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admission to 13 M.Tech programmes offered by its participating institutes. The application form of AP PGECET was opened on March 21; last date of submission of application form without late fee was April 29. However, candidates can make corrections in their filled application form from April 25 to May 4, 2018. It is important that candidates check the complete eligibility criteria of AP PGECET 2018 before applying for the exam. AP PGECET 2018 Hall Ticket:

The hall ticket of AP PGECET 2018 will be released from May 5 onwards. AP PGECET hall ticket 2018 is an important document to be carried to the exam centre as entry without it will be restricted. To download AP PGECET 2018 hall ticket/ admit card, candidates will have to log in using their registration number and the exam they are appearing for.

AP PGECET 2018 Exam Centres:

The exam centres of AP PGECET 2018 are the prescribed colleges/ schools/ institutes where candidates will have to visit on the day of the exam. Candidates will have to appear in AP PGECET at their allotted exam centre as mentioned on their admit card. The list of AP PGECET 2018 exam centres has been provided below.

AP PGECET Application Form Correction:

The authority has provided the correction period in AP PGECET 2018 application form. The correction period has been started from 25th April to 4th May 2018. Candidates are suggested to fill the form carefully. In some particular fields corrections can be done through email request to the university.

AP PGECET Application Form 2018:

  • AP PGECET 2018 application form is made completely online from 21st March 2018.
  • No offline mode is entertained for submitting the AP PGECET application form.
  • Candidates are advised to submit the application form before the last date. In case of submitting the application form after due date, candidates have to pay extra charges.
  • Fee payment will be the first step in the application form.
  • Upload scanned photograph (size less than 40 KB) and scanned signature in Jpg/jpeg format.
  • After filling the form completely, candidate may take a printout of filled-in application for further references.

AP PGECET Eligibility Criteria 2018:

2 Domicile Candidates should be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana. They need to produce documents to prove the same.
3 Age Limit The lower age limit of the applicants is 21 years.
4 Educational Qualification Candidates need to have passed the qualifying exam in B.E./ B.Tech.
5 Required Marks General category candidates must have secured minimum 50% marks in their qualifying exam. However, reserved category candidates need 40% marks in their qualifying exam.
6 Qualifying Exam Status Candidates who are pursuing B.E./ B.Tech will also be eligible to apply for admission, provided, they have completed the prescribed course and passed all the subjects from the concerned university on the date of AP PGECET counselling
6 GATE 2018 GATE qualified candidates will be eligible for direct admissions

AP PGECET Application Fee:

The application fee of AP PGECET 2018 has to be submitted by candidates as the first step of the application procedure. The prescribed AP PGECET application fee has been provided in the table given below. Category 1 belong to changes that can be done and Category 2 belong to changes that cannot be done in the filled application form.

Note that for applications filled after April 20, there is a late fine of Rs. 2000. The last date to fill AP PGECET with late fine is May 4.

AP PGECET Exam Pattern 2018:

The exam pattern of AP PGECET 2018 as prescribed by Andhra University has been provided in the table given below. It is to be noted that all candidates will have to appear in Engineering Mathematics section in the exam mandatorily. The remaining part of the exam will have questions from the prescribed syllabus of AP PGECET 2018.
