AIBE 11 result / The All India Bar Examination XI Result declared

The AIBE XI Result 2018 has been declared by the Bar Council of India. The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) was held on December 3, 2017.

Bar Council of India has announced the AIBE 2018 result for XI on March 9 in online mode. The AIBE (XI) examination which was held on December 3, 2017, in offline mode. With the release of AIBE Result (11) 2018, the test appearing advocates will be awarded the ‘Certificate of Practice’ who qualify the examination. Only after obtaining the aforementioned certificate by All India Bar Examination (AIBE), candidates can exercise their legal profession in India. Candidates can access the official website and check the AIBE (XI) result 2018 by logging into registered accounts after the announcement of results.

Candidates can check their qualifying status in the AIBE result 2018 XI by entering their registered roll number and date of birth. The BCI has withheld AIBE XI result 2018 of five candidates. AIBE 2018 Result – Steps to check AIBE result XI 2018

Visit the official website of All India Bar Examination at allindiabarexamination.com. Click on the link for ‘Result AIBE X1’ in the left hand side. Enter roll number date of birth and submit. The result will be displayed on the screen.

The council has also released a list of candidates whose results have been withheld.

What is the passing mark for AIBE exam?

The passing mark for AIBE exam has been 40% since 2012. The syllabus has also not changed since then. So, the qualify the AIBE 11, the candidates need to score not less than 40%.

Instruction Regarding Rechecking

• The candidate would be informed about their rechecking result within 7 working days after the application for revaluation is received.
• Candidates who want to check their answer sheets themselves will have to book a time slot and visit Bar Council Of India premises as per the allotted time schedule; which will be informed to them after their application is received by Bar Council Of India.
• Under no circumstances will the Xerox of answer sheet and answer key be given to the candidate.
• Candidates need to send the complete rechecking application in the attached format along with the Demand Draft amounting to Rs. 200/- in favour of Bar Council of India payable at New Delhi.Frequently Asked QuestionsQ. If I do not receive my Certificate of Practice even after clearing the All India Bar Examination? Can I appear in the courts on the basis of my declared result?

A. The Certificate of Practice will be given soon after the declaration of AIBE 11 Result 2018. But in the interim period, the candidate can practice on the basis of the declared result.

Q. If I fail in AIBE XI 2018, would it hamper my scope for higher legal studies?

A. The All India Bar Examination is only an entry-level examination for the candidate to be able to practice law in India. The institution the candidate applies for higher studies would best assess any effect of the result in the All India Bar Examination on your higher legal studies.

Q. I am practicing advocate, so does the score in All India Bar Examination will affect my career? Will it affect my ability to be a Senior Counsel in practice?

A. Passing the AIBE XI 2018 is a necessary condition for the practice of law in India. The All India Bar Examination is only an entry-level examination – aspirants career as an advocate would only be affected to the extent that they are required to successfully clear the All India Bar Examination in order to practice law in India.
