Contribution to bank unions from wage Settlement arrears – Union circular for fixing amount on the basis of posts

All India PNB Staff Federation has issued a circular stating that it was decided to collect the levy from the arrears of 10th BPS @ 2% of net arrears (after deduction of PF/Contribution to NPS and before deduction of Income Tax from the gross arrears).

Reg,: Levy of 10th Bi-partite Settlement

Dear Comrade,

In the Central Committee Meeting of the Federation held on 3rd  May 2015 at Aligarh, it was decided to collect the levy from the arrears of 10th BPS @ 2% of net arrears (after deduction of PF/Contribution to NPS and before deduction of Income Tax from the gross arrears) subject to a minimum Rs.2,000/- & maximum of Rs.3,000/- from special assistants, minimum of Rs.1,000/- & maximum of Rs.2,000/- from clerks and minimum of Rs.500/- & maximum of Rs.1,000/- from the members of sub-staff. It was also decided that the affiliated unions are authorized to collect the levy from their members over and above the amount fixed by the Federation.

All the members/units/affiliated unions are advised to remit the amount of levy so collected to the Federation by way of demand draft drawn in favour of All India PNB Staff Federation payable at Delhi and send the same to the Central office of the Federation along with the list of the subscribers positively up to 15th July 2015.

Comrades, NCBE has done its best for achieving reasonable and justified Wage Revision. Let us contribute whole heartedly to strengthen NCBE and our Federation.

Dear Sir,

Reg.:- Levy of 10th Bipartite Settlement

Vide PAD Circular No. 271 dated 09-06-2015, the Bank has decided to provide the facility of deduction of union’s levy from the arrears of 10th Bi-partite Settlement to all the unions who are being given the check-off facility, on receipt of request from them.

You are requested to please deduct the levy from the arrears of 10th BPS payable to me/us @ 2% of net arrears (after deduction of PF/Contribution to NPS and before deduction of Income Tax from the gross arrears) subject to a minimum Rs.2,000/- & maximum of Rs.3,000/- from special assistants, minimum of Rs.1,000/- & maximum of Rs.2,000/- from clerks and minimum of Rs.500/- & maximum of Rs.1,000/- from the members of sub-staff and issue a draft favouring All India PNB Staff Federation payable at Delhi.

Vide PAD Circular No. 271 Dated 09-06-2015, it has been decided by the Bank that the facility of deduction of union’s levy from the arrears of 10th Bi-partite Settlement be provided to all the Unions who are being given the check-off facility, on receipt of request from them.
