Kerala TET Answer key 2017 / KTET Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test for August 12 exams Released

The answer keys for Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) (category I and category II examinations ) have been released by the Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan on Monday. All those candidates who had appeared for the exam are required to check the same at the official website www.keralapareekshabhavan.in. The exam was conducted on August 12.

KTET is conducted to assess the quality of teacher candidates for lower primary, upper primary and high school classes in Kerala.

Steps to download the answer keys

  • Log on to the official website www.keralapareekshabhavan.in
  • Click on the answer key link for Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test 2017
  • Select Category I or Category II to view the answer key
  • The answer key will be displayed on the screen
  • Download the same and take a print out for future reference

Those who wanted to be a teacher for Lower Primary classes had appeared for the Category I examination while those who wanted to be teacher for Upper Primary classes appeared for Category II exam.

Pass percentage

A person who scores 60 per cent or more in the K-TET examination will be considered ‘KTET passed’ or ‘K-TET qualified’.

The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan will conduct a separate test for the following categories:
1. Category I (Lower Primary Classes)
2. Category II (Upper Primary Classes)
3. Category III (High School Classes)
4. Category IV (For Language Teachers, Specialist Teachers and Physical Education Teachers)

The KTET 2017 exam had a total of 150 questions carrying 1 mark each. General Category Candidates are required to score atleast 60% marks to qualify whereas 55% marks are required to be obtained by the SC/ST/OBC/OEC candidates and 50% marks by Physically Impaired Candidates to qualify for KTET 2017.

The result of KTET 2017 is expected to be declared by the Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan in a few weeks and candidates can check back for the same on the official website.
