The Railways Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the admit card for the recruitment exam to be conducted for the post of Junior Engineer (JE) on its official regional websites. The stage-I computer based exam for the post of Junior Engineer will be conducted in computer-based testing (CBT) mode. The exam will be conducted from May 22 to May 27, 2019.
A total of 13,487 vacancies are to be filled through this recruitment drive for the post of Junior Engineer (JE), depot material superintendent and chemical and metallurgical assistant. Selected candidates will be eligible for CBT stage II exam.
The admit card will mention the exam city, time and exam centre. Candidates are advised to bring one original photo ID card, passport size colour photograph, along with a printed copy of e- call letter without which candidates won’t be allowed to enter the examination hall.
RRB Junior Engineer CBT Exam Pattern:
Duration of CBT : 90 minutes (120 minutes for eligible PwBD candidates accompanied with scribe)
Number of Questions : 100
Types of questions : Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
Negative Marking : 1/3rd for every incorrect answer
“The 1st stage CBT is of screening nature and the standard of questions for the CBT will be generally in conformity with the educational standards and/or minimum technical qualifications prescribed for the posts. The normalized score of 1st stage exam shall be used only for short listing of candidates for 2nd stage exam as per their merit. Candidates who are shortlisted for 2nd stage CBT availing the reservation benefits of a community, PwBD and ExSM shall continue to be considered only against that community for all subsequent stages of recruitment process,” the notification reads.

- Click on the center you have applied
- Log-in using your registration id and Date of birth
- Admit card will be appeared on the screen
- Download and take its printout for future use
