While Second advance may be sanctioned to undertake the journey soon after the completion of earlier one as per GFR, PCS (FYS) has now imposed certain conditions one of which is the second journey is required to be undertaken within a week after completion of the first tour
TA claims for performing journey in Car/Taxi/Scooter/Autorickshaw on tour are to be settled on the basis of rates prescribed by Transport Authorities of concerned State or on the basis of prevailing rates in the Metropolitan city of a particular State
Serving (State/Central) Government servants, Semi Government/ Autonomous Bodies, Employees paid from the Consolidated Fund of India or through Grants-in-aid are treated as Official Members.

As far as Daily Allowance on official Tour is concerned 7th Pay Commission has recommended for reimbursement of stay and travel and also payment of lump sum amount per day
As far as TA on Transfer is concerned 7th Pay Commission recommended that CTG should be paid at the rate of 80 percent of last month’s Basic Pay. However, for transfer to and from the island territories of Andaman, Nicobar and Lakshadweep, CTG may continue to be paid at the rate of 100 percent of last month’s Basic Pay.
Even if journey performed by Staff Car Drivers does not involve absence of at least one night from headquarters, they are entitled to TA and DA
As per the order for revision of Travelling Allowance, Daily allowance and Honorarium, PAN details will have to be provided in the TA Bill along with the cancelled cheque containing the name and bank account number of the applicant so that amount reimbursed will be deposited in bank account.
