Revision of PPO of Central Government Pensioners and Family pensioners who retired before 01.01.2006 (Pre-2006 Pensioners) consequent on implementation of sixth pay commission report with effect from 01.01.2006
CPAO has called for Present address, telephone number if any and mobile number if any of all the pensioners and family pensioners. These details are to be provided by Pensioners and family pensioners while they are submitting Life Certificate for this year in the month of November.
The Central Pension Accounting Office (CPAO) has suggested that e-scroll data, which is being received in CPAO from most of the banks may be used and the problems indicated above may be solved. The e-scroll contains 13 fields of information such as Name of the pensioner, PPO number (New)/ PPO number (old), name of the Ministry, PAO code, bank name, BSR code, Account number, pension category, basic pension, DR, Additional Pension, Month of Pay
Revised Pension Payment Order (PPO) will be essential especially in the cases of enhanced pension based on age of the Pensioners and Revision of Pension/family Pension required on account of pension after 6CPC fixation is lesser than the minimum pension guaranteed
