Railway Minister replies on the impacts of implementing 7th Pay commission in Railways
Expected DA from January 2017 – NFIR assumption on DA from Jan 2017 Probable DA rise w.e.f. 01.01.2017 in case 277 continues 4.24% (round off to 4%)
A senior railway official said there would be a ban on creation of new posts in non-safety/non-operation departments. He added that instructions have been given to slow down recruitment
The Cabinet decided on 26th September to extend the tenure of 7th Pay Commission up to 31-12-2015 which raised the suspicion that the submission of the report may be delayed. However, until today, the finance ministry has not issued the extension order by notification.
Quoting General Secretary, AIRF, the report says Railwaymen have demanded OROP in their oral submission before 7th Pay Commission which is likely to submit its report by the end of September 2015
Indian Railways Technical Supervisor Association has submitted its representations before the 7th CPC on the clarifications sought by them at the meeting held on 12.12.2014 at Jodhpur.
