As decided in the National Anomaly Committee held on 17.07.2012, a meeting of the Joint Committee on MACPS held on 27.07.2012, under the chairmanship of Jt.Secy (Estt), DOPT, wherein Shri.Umraomal Purohit (Secretary Staff Side NC/ JCM) and Shiva Gopal Mishra (General Secretary AIRF and Member NC/JCM) were present on behalf of All India Railway men’s Federation.
As decided in National Anomaly Committee Meeting held on 17.07.2012, a separate meeting for discussing the anomalies in MACP Scheme was conducted on 27.07.2012. MACP Joint Committee Decisions taken in the meeting as reported by Confederation are as follows
Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Central board of Excise and Customs has finally accepted the officers plea and decided to allow Grade Pay of 5400 in PB-3 for the Group B Officers (Superintendents of Customs, Superintendent of Central Excise and Appraisers) who were fixed with pre-revised Scale of pay of 8000- 275-13500 as financial upgradation in the promotional hierarchy under ACP Scheme on or before 31.08.2008
We are all aware, all Group B Officers in Central Board of Excise and Customs (Superintendents of Central and Customs, Appraisers etc.), who were given the 2nd ACP prior to implementation of sixth Pay Commission report, were denied the Grade Pay of PB3 Rs.5400 at the time of fixation of salary in 1.1.2006.
