7th Pay Commission Pension and Gratuity for Railway Pensioners – Implementation of Government’s decision on the recommendation of the Seventh Central Pay Commission
Presently Retirement Gratuity has limit of Rs. 10 lakh. 7th Pay Commission has recommended for increasing this ceiling on gratuity to Rs. 20 lakh. Further, Retirement Gratuity will have to be increased by 25 percent whenever DA rises by 50 percent.
DA indexed Gratuity proposed by 7th Pay Commission will be beneficial to Central Government Pensioners. Presently Employees retire at the end of term of any pay commission end up in getting same gratuity which was granted to employees 10 years ago who retired immediately after implementation of pay commission.
BSNL calls for details of Casual Labourers from all Circles for extension of Gratuity to them. This information in the format prescribed should reach the BSNL Estt on or before 31.08.2015
