7th pay commission has recommended to merge CGHS, ECHS, RELHS so that better treatment could be given to all the serving and retired employees. CGHS to be extended to more number of people and should be available in all cities and towns across the length and breadth of the country.
Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) has published the updated city wise list of empanelled hospitals. Regional Centres will initiate action to complete the formalities required for empanelling hospitals approved for empanelment vide letter under reference.
