Dy Dte Gen Canteen Services has extended Canteen facilities to family pensioners of retired Defence Civilian employees.
Defence Ministry has clarified the utilisation of CSD Canteen facilities by the retired Defence Civilians – Defence Civilian Family Pensioners are also entitled to CSD Canteen facilities

As per Principal Controller of Defence Accounts Smart cards to be issued to eligible Retired Defence Civilian Employees for using in CSD Canteen. Smart Chip Limited Lucknow had been contacted and upon hearing from them necessary forms will be collected and the process will be completed with in 4-5 weeks
So far Defence Civilian Employees who are on service were only eligible for procuring goods from CSD Canteen. Now, retired Defence Civilian Employees have also been included for as eligible persons to utilise CSD Canteen facilities
