Payment of Bonus Act Amendment Gazette Notification issued by Govt. Consequently Central Government Employees including Railway Employees and Defence Civilian Employees would be eligible for Bonus limited to Rs. 7000 with effect from 2014-15
All India Railwaymen’ Federation (AIRF) has requested Railway Board to pay the arrears in Bonus Payment for the financial year 2014-15. Lok Sabha has already approved the amendmend to Bonus Bill increasing the ceiling limit of wages from Rs. 3500/- to Rs. 7000/- with retrospective from 01.04.2014
30 days emoluments as Non-PLB (Ad-hoc bonus) for the accounting year 2014-15 to the eligible employees of autonomous bodies, not covered by the Productivity Linked Bonus Schemes.
The calculation ceiling for payment of ad-hoc Bonus under these orders shall continue to be monthly emoluments of Rs. 3500/-. Maximum amount of bonus for Central Government Employees, Central Para Military Forces and Armed Forces will be Rs. 3454/-
Department of Posts has released bonus orders to all postal staff including casual labourers who have been conferred temporary status. Sixty days salary will be paid as bonus. The formula for calculating the bonus has also been provided by Department of Posts
