Assistant Archivists, Archivists and Scientific Officer to get Higher Grade Pay -7th CPC recommendation

Seventh Pay Commission has recommended higher Grade Pay for National Archives of India Posts – Assistant Archivists (GP 4200 to GP 4600), Archivists(GP 4600 to GP 4800) and Scientific Officers (GP 4600 to GP 4800) and a non-functional upgrade to GP 5400 (PB-2) after four years. These employees should be placed at the appropriate level in the Pay Matrix.

Grade Pay of Radiographers in Railways, Defence and A&N – 7th CPC recommendation

7th CPC recommends replacement pay scales in Radiographers of Railways and Defence Establishments. In case of Radiographers of Andaman and Nicobar Administration the Commission recommends that the post of Junior Radiographer be merged with Radiographers and placed in GP 2800.

No increment for non-performers – 7th Pay Commission

No Annual Increment in the case of those employees who are not able to meet the benchmark either for MACP or a regular promotion within the first 20 years of their service. However, since this is not a penalty, the norms for penal action in disciplinary cases involving withholding increments will not be applicable in such cases.
