If the government comes forward to hold a meaningful discussion with the leaders of the NJCA on 7th Pay Commission issues, a mutually acceptable settlement can be brought and the strike planned by staff side from 11th July 2016 can be avoided

The delay in taking decision on the 7th pay commission report will rob the employees of the increased allowances for ever, The NJCA press statement said.
BPMS will observe an agitation programme throughout the country from 13.06.2016 to 18.06.2016 for further increase pay and allowances over and above recommended by 7th Pay Commission
The meeting of the empowered committee of secretaries headed by cabinet secretary P K Sinha to decide the fate of 7th pay commission report did not take place last Saturday as scheduled, and is likely to be held on Tuesday, reliable sources in anonymous said.
The office of the Cabinet Secretary dealing with 7th Pay Commission’s recommendation confirmed that the meeting did not take place on Saturday.
Empowered Committee meeting which is to be held today, on 11th June 2016 will be a very crucial one to decide further course of action by both Govt side and Staff side.
