SSC MTS result 2017 / SSC MTS (Non Technical) Paper 1 Exam Result declared
Staff Selection Commission has declared the results of MTS recruitment examination on the official website – ssc.nic.in. A total of 159182 candidates have qualified for the paper II. The Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) exam was held in a computer-based mode in September and October, 2017. The official website is not functioning smoothly, we suggest candidates to check SSC MTS 2017 result after some time. Here the steps to follow to be able to access the cut-off.

A total of 8300 vacancies on an all India basis will be filled via the SSC MTS exam. More than 20 lakh aspirants had applied for this prestigious examination.
The examination was held from 16 September 2017 till 31 October 2017. Answer keys for the same was released in November. SSC had in May this year cancelled the OMR based examination conducted for the recruitment of MTS (Non-Technical), 2016 along with the then scheduled ones and has re-scheduled dates to September-October. Candidates can check the SSC MTS result at the official website of the Commission at ssc.nic.in.
With the declaration of paper I, the qualified candidates can now start preparing for paper II exam that is scheduled to be held on January 28. The commission is likely to release the admit cards a week before the exam.
The exams were initially scheduled for April 20, May 14, May 28, June 5 and June 11 but were cancelled after it was found that the question paper and the answer keys circulating on social media.
The Personnel Ministry had said in a release that the SSC has taken a decision to cancel the Paper-I (afternoon shift) of the MTS (Non-Technical) Examination, 2016 held on April 30, 2017, because the said paper was found to be compromised.

2) Click on link for ‘MTS result’ in latest news section of the homepage
3) A new page containing link for write up and result lists will open
4) Click on links for results and it will be displayed on the screen
5) Take a printout and save it
SSC MTS Result 2017: What’s Next?
After the declaration of the Paper 1 result, candidates will be eligible to appear for the descriptive one. Paper 2 will comprise of Short Essay/ Letter in English or any language included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution. The paper will carry a total of 50 marks and candidates will be allowed 30 minutes duration for the same. ‘Paper-II will only be of qualifying nature and is intended to test elementary language skills in view of re-categorization of the post as Group-C and in view of job requirements.’
Candidates should note that, ‘cut-offs in Paper-I and qualifying marks in Paper-II may be different for vacancies in each State/ UT will be fixed at the discretion of the Commission. Candidates for each State/ UT will be finally selected based on their performance in Paper-I, subject to their meeting basic qualifying standards fixed in Paper-II.’
