The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) is expected to declare the results of Class 10 board examination 2017 results on Saturday.
. The JAC has, however, declared the “Compartmental” exam results for both Class 12 (Intermediate) and Class 10 on its website. Students who have appeared for the exams can check their results from the official website and check this page for updates.

The class 10 board exams were conducted in the state from February 18, 2017 and over 4 lakh students appeared and ended with the Sanskrit paper on March 1, 2017.
The class 12 exams were also conducted in the state from February 18, but they ended on March 7 with the Computer Science and Anthropology papers.
Last year, the results for the class 10 Jharkhand board exams were declared on May 20 and the overall pass percentage stood at 67.54, which was 7.20 per cent lower than the previous year. Boys had outperformed girls with a pass percentage of 70.03, while girls scored 65.03 per cent.
The results will be available on the official website www.jac.nic.in, or www.jac.jharkhand.gov.in once they are released and as soon as the results link will be been activated by the board.

– Visit the official JAC website (jac.nic.in).
– Click on the link JAC results 2017.
– Enter your roll number and date of birth in the fields provided and click on submit.
– The result will be displayed.
– Download the result and take a print out of the same for further reference.
The Jharkhand Academic Council was founded on December 26, 2003. It was set up by the HRD Ministry of Jharkhand state. The purpose and duties of JAC are to recommend the syllabus, propose rules and specify courses of instruction and textbooks, teaching by correspondence courses, recognition of higher school and higher secondary schools in Jharkhand.
The board was established for holding and conducting examinations at the end of Intermediate education, secondary education, Sanskrit education and Madrasa education and for prescribing courses of studies for such examinations. It also makes recommendations for recognition of Intermediate Educational institutions, High Schools, Sanskrit schools and Madrasas to the State Government and for carrying out such other duties assigned to the council by the state government regularly.
