The following Office Memorandums have been issued by Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) from time to time as guidelines to all Central Government Departments in order to streamline the Transfer norms in respect of Husband and Wife when both are in Government Service.

I am an employee of Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd. (A Government of India Enterprise) Rajasthan Atomic Power Station, Rawatbhata, Kota. My Wife is working as a IIIrd grade Teacher in Department of Education, Government of Rajasthan.I have requested State department of education for transfer of my wife from Jalor to Chittorgrah district as I am working in RAPS-1&2 in Chittorgarh District (NPCIL offices are located only at five cities viz. MAPS-Channai Tamil Nadu, NAPS-UP, KAPS-Gujrat, KKNPP-Tamil Nadu, TAPS-Mahrastra, Mumbai).
Pl. advise weather my wife’s transfer is possible in the same District of Rajasthan State where I am working presently.

I am approaching from last two year for single location posting both of us, But top management are slipping till now and acting as a deaf and dumb. No policy and guidelines are framed till now. Please inform what are the penalty on bank or punishment for responsible staff who has not framed the policy in the bank.
Kindly also inform legal action on my employer, they say you people will not work if posted at single location.
