The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi, has considered various suggestions received from various user ends for streamlining the functioning of Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS). In consultation with the Officials of the CGHS, the Ministry has laid down the methods for streamlining the functioning, improving the quality of service and to ensure user friendly environment in the functioning of CGHS Scheme. A system for submitting suggestions/feedback has been introduced. Also a grievance redressal Mechanism has been introduced. We can hope that the reforms would go a long way in improving the most useful scheme available to Government Servants.
